Authentic Japanese Food?

Dishes such as curry rice, real ramen, omelettes, rice dishes, weirder stuff like natto, etc.? It will most likely be owned by Japanese people. I haven't been around Austin much, and haven't found such a restaurant yet.

Umi has a nice katsu-don lunch... a little un-traditional but very good. I was underwhelmed with Mimosa's...
Authentic Japanese Food?
Musashinos is open for lunch, serving traditional Japanese cuisine such as Ramen, Udon, Saba shio yaki (salmon also), Tonkatsu (also with curry) go check it out... you'll definitely love it.

Try Origami in Round Rock. They have all the Japanese food stuffs you are interested in, as well as sushi.
