Mimosa Cafe

I will have to say that my favorite place is Mimosa Cafe. Does anyone else eat here? I don't see it mentioned much on this forum (that could be a bad thing). The chefs know my girlfriend and I very well and we go there all the time. I think the sushi is great and not overpriced... it's also close to where we live so that's always a plus :)

Has anyone else been to Mimosa Cafe (Barton Springs)? What do you think of it?

Another place I've been to a few times and really like is Mikado up North.

Yeah me and all of my frineds eat at mimosa all of the time once a week. me and my boyfriend stumbled apon it and we have told all of our friends about it since. the wait staff is nice but the sushi chefs them selfs are the greatest people they are funny and they always reconize use and know what we always get.

The one time I stopped in there I wasted $30. The nigiri I ordered smelled and tasted [took a very small bite to check] fishy and when I mentioned to the waitress [quietly] that I believed the sushi to be "off" she shrugged and asked if I wanted to order something else. Needless to say, I have never returned. The last thing I need is a sushi bill on top of a hospital bill!
