Sushi Roku on Ocean Ave. A little pricey but worth it.

Definitely try Hama Sushi--it's on 2nd Street and is terrific.
Best sushi in L.A., though, is actually up in Calabasas in a little strip mall. It's called Shibuya and I HIGHLY recommend it!
