Okonomiyaki

Body:

I happened to find the Austin Sushi website while doing a Google search, and I hope you don't mind if I ask a non-sushi question. There was an article about okonomiyaki in the travel section of the Austin-American Statesman this weekend. I was in Hiroshima last year, tried okonomiyaki, and loved it! The newspaper article just gave me another craving for it. Does anyone know if there is any restaurant in Austin or San Antonio that serves okonomiyaki? I know the chances of that are small, but I just have to ask. I've thought about trying to make it at home, but somehow I just don't think it would taste the same (even if I could keep from flipping the ingredients all over the stove! lol)

Thanks so much for your help.

I saw that article. It didn't look like it would take much to make it. It was sort of like a burrito. :o

I would be amazed if a restuarant in Austin served okonomiyaki. But until then, I must suggest buying ingredients for okonomiyaki at Asahi Imports. They helped me gather everything I needed to recreate my okonomiyaki experience.
