We've received various Intelligence reports about free sushi in central Austin. We have carefully confirmed these reports, and are happy to reveal that Cedar Street's happy hour on fridays has free sushi handrolls starting at 6pm and going for as long as they last. If anyone can find out who's supplying them, let us know.

Tim Thomas, one of the sushi chefs at Origami sent us an email to congratulate us on austinsushi.com and remind us that November 1st was National Sushi Day in Japan. Had we not been so busy with other events, we might have been able to inform our readers. But hey, did any Austin sushi bars follow tradition and discount their sushi on that day? ;-)

While we might give Korea House a nod for their
low sushi prices, they aren't even in our top five
for overall quality.

The "audience" winner, however, was Musashino. Once
again, the people get it right.
