New Restaurant in P'ville

Body:

I just tried Fuji, a new Japanese restaurant in P'ville, last night. While not a traditional Sushi bar, they do have sushi on the menu. It is prepared by a chef that came over from Kenichi and had worked @ Kenichi for over 3 years. The fish is exceptional and they offer many other traditional Japanese dishes as well. It's the 2nd Sushi shop in our little city and, I think, the better of the 2.

Sounds like the 'guest', who won't bother to claim their opinion (i.e. anonymous), is clueless!

I live and Pflugerville and eat at Hakata approx. once a week. It is wonderful, the fish is always fresh and he has such an assortment of rolls I struggle and have a hard time deciding what to eat every time I am in there. I have eaten at many sushi places in Austin and I would rate Hakata up with Mikado and Koreanna. You always feel warm and welcome when you come in the restaurant. It is not FAST food, it is cooked and cut fresh when you get there so if you are in a hurry perhaps you should try McDonalds. I highly recommend you try Hakata if you haven't, you will find it a joy as I did I am sure.

I would rate Hakata higher than makado or korianna for the warm welcome you get. Chris goes out of his way to be warm and friendly. Worth the drive from Austin
