Body:

For those who were curious about the Tinoshi closing in Round Rock, I still don't have any answers there. But it appears that Blue FIn has now opened its doors.

Yes Blue Fin the restraunt formally know as Tanoshi has reopened. One of the waiters is my neighbor and it has reopened, the reason for it's closing is due in part that the owner [stuff deleted] They still have the same Sushi chef just a diff owner. what proof do you want other than one of the employees that was told the reason they closed.

I like Tanoshii, but don't like Blue Fin. Service: in both incarnations, they seemed to be overstaffed....yet the service was poor (despite the fact that we were the only diners). For example, we assumed the waiter forgot we ordered edamame, until the end of the meal when he stopped by to say they were making a fresh batch and to inquire if we still wanted it ("no."). Food: Some things (like the Hot Roll) are the same. Others are not. They were out of snow crab when we were there, so I couldn't get my usual. Instead, I ordered a regular California roll (I know, I know!). It was the worst I'd ever had. We went to Tanoshii fairly frequently because the food (and convenient location) overcame the poor service. Blue Fin will not get our business again for a long, long time.
